Wool Full Zip Jackets make excellent mid-layers - they protect thermally while wicking moisture, and are key in a thermal layering system for retaining body heat. In windy conditions however, one must employ the use of a shell layer to block the wind (as it can penetrate wool knits). Ivanhoe has addressed this by creating a merino wool full zip with a breathable synthetic (polyamide) lining that blocks the wind: meaning that the York Windbreaker Full Zip can be used as a top layer jacket on it's own in windy conditions. The unisex York Windbreaker is made from 100% mulesing free merino wool, has a high collar (to cut drafts), ribbed cuffs, and features 2 zippered pockets on the front. Available in black.
