About Light My Fire
Light My Fire is a Swedish company who began operation in 1995 in an attempt to bring Guatemalan fatwood sticks to a European audience. This failed initially, but when the fatwood sticks were paired with the ferrocerium rods used by the Swedish military, the tide turned, as these two fire making implements used together allowed one to make fire in any weather conditions, at any altitude quickly, and easily. Today Light My Fire makes firesteels, fatwood products and a wide variety of sporks, lunch boxes and accessories in Västervik, Sweden.
