The Savotta Sleeping Mat is a rugged, durable, closed foam cell and waterproof nylon camp mat which features folding skirts along it's edges - great for sleeping on snow in winter tents, or on rough ground at other times of the year. Originally designed for the Finnish Army, the Savotta Sleeping Mat is made in Finland, and comes with a 2 year warranty.
The Savotta sleeping mat packs up compact and lightweight, weighing in at just under a kilogram. It includes integrated elastic loops so packing and unpacking it is quick and easy. Fully extended, the mat is just under 2m long. It features 12mm of closed cell foam in the padded section and a rubberized coating on top to help prevent slipping. Fold out skirts on the sides of the mat keep you off the ground, which is particularly useful if you're sleeping on wet ground or snow.
