The Canadian Outdoor Equipment Co. delivers worldwide, with free shipping to Canada on orders of $50+ (pre-tax) and free shipping to the United States on orders of $150+. Orders are processed Monday-Friday and are shipped within 1-3 business days from the time the order is placed. FREQUENTLY ASKED SHIPPING QUESTIONS
How long does it take for my order to ship?
Orders are processed and shipped Monday-Friday within 1-3 business days of being placed, provided there are no issues with payment or inventory. You will be contacted should an issue arise. Upon shipment, you will receive a tracking number by email (check your spam folder if you were expecting one and have not received it). Generation and email of a tracking number indicates order has shipped, and is en route.
Order processing day count begins on the next business day after the order is placed: i.e. Orders placed Tuesday, will ship by Friday. Orders placed Friday will ship by Wednesday.
Certain payment methods (PayPal eCheck) require payments to clear before our receipt of funds, and can take up to 10 business days to do so.
Do you offer curb side pick-up?
YES - Simply place your order online, select "Curb Side Pickup" during the checkout process, and once your items have been sent to the store from our warehouse (within 1 - 2 business days) we will contact you to arrange and schedule a pickup time.
Do you offer in-store pick-up?
Due to the COVID pandemic, our storefront is closed to the public, and in-store pickups are unavailable. However, curb side pickup can be selected as a delivery method for all online orders. (see above)
I want to change/edit/delete something on my order after placing it - can I do this?
Provided your order has not been packed, it can be changed or cancelled. Please call the store in order to catch our highly efficient packing team before they get to your order. We will reply to emails, but due to the high volumes of emails we receive, we may not see your message in time. Calling us gives us the best chance of changing your order. Leave a message if you are unable to talk to a staff member, and include your name and Order ID#

Why am I being asked to call into the store for a shipping quote?
Certain heavy or oversize items must be shipped by alternative means. Shipping quotes are generated manually in these instances. Certain manufacturers also maintain territorial restrictions for Canadian vs USA and international sales, thereby disallowing shipping between territories in these instances.

Orders of $50 or more (pre-tax) ship free within Canada via Canada Post.
Shipping Exclusions
Items that surpass shipper's size and weight restrictions do not qualify for free shipping. These include toboggans, prospector tents, snowshoes, paddles, two man saws, 3ft/4ft crosscut saws, 35" felling axes, double bit felling axes, wall maps, tripods, 60L & multiples of 30L and 20L barrels. We reserve the right to not ship to certain addresses.

Where products do not qualify for free shipping, or when expedited shipping options are required, real time shipping methods and quotes can be obtained by adding products to your shopping cart, and selecting "Checkout". Upon entering applicable shipping city, province and postal code, a list of available options and prices are presented. Shipping prices are dependent on your postal code, and the size and weight of your order.
Expedited Shipping Options
Expedited shipping options include Canada Post Xpresspost and Priority options, as well as FedEx ground and Express services.

Tracking numbers are generated and emailed to the email address associated with the order at the time of shipment - so once you receive tracking information, this indicates that we've shipped, and the package is on it's way to you. If you were expecting a tracking number, but have not received one, please do first check spam/junk mail folders as a first step, and then contact us to verify that your shipment has indeed shipped.

Orders of $150 USD or more ship free to the continental United States via Canada Post/United States Postal Service.
Shipping Exclusions
Items that surpass shipper's size and weight restrictions do not qualify for free shipping. These include toboggans, prospector tents, snowshoes, paddles, two man saws, 3ft/4ft crosscut saws, 35" felling axes, double bit felling axes, wall maps, tripods, 60L & multiples of 30L and 20L barrels. We do not offer free shipping to Hawaii or Puerto Rico, and reserve the right to not ship to certain addresses, including military bases.

Customs, Duties and Taxes
Orders being shipped to the USA or internationally are exempt from Canadian taxes, but cross an international border, and so must pass through customs and may be subject to import duties, customs processing fees, brokerage fees (in the case of FedEx deliveries) and local (state/territorial) taxes. As a general rule, in most cases, orders worth $800 USD or less are exempt from duty charges. When these fees do occur, it is the recipient's responsibility to pay these fees. The Canadian Outdoor Equipment Co. is unfortunately unable provide fee estimates, but these can be obtained by contacting your local customs and tax offices.
Tracking Information
Tracking numbers are generated and emailed to the email address associated with the order at the time of shipment - so once you receive tracking information, this indicates that we've shipped, and the package is on it's way to you. If you were expecting a tracking number, but have not received one, please do first check spam/junk mail folders as a first step, and then contact us to verify that your shipment has indeed shipped. USA bound shipments can be tracked via Canada Post until it passes into international customs at the US border, and then with the same tracking number via USPS for the remainder of it's journey.

Orders being shipped internationally are exempt from Canadian taxes, but applicable customs and duty fees are applied by the shipper (postal service/courier) at time of entry into foreign countries, and are the responsibility of the customer to pay. Given the breadth of international tax and duty structures, we are unable to provide estimates, but these can be obtained from your local customs and border control.
