Wood-Craft Pack Axe - 19" Handle

The Council Tools Wood-Craft 19" Pack Axe is a portable, agile one or two handed axe that is designed to deliver clean, precise performance for all your bushcraft, woodcraft or camp-craft needs.

Drop forged from 100% made in the USA 5160 knife steel, the Wood-Craft Pack axe features a 2 lb head, phantom bevels, and a flat, Scandinavian grind that provides highly focussed, accurate cuts, and quick and easy edge maintenance.

The Wood-Craft 19" Pack Axe also features both a hardened (tempered) blade and a hardened poll, making it ideal for for cutting, chopping, splitting, carving, shaving, hewing, and hammering, and it excels at tasks where functions of both a knife and axe can be combined.

The Premium hickory handle is expertly fitted, and features a "fawn's foot" knob swell that is both highly functional and ergonomically pleasing.

The Wood-Craft Pack Axe comes standard with a fully welted leather mask (A), but can also be purchased with a heavy-duty full leather sheath with D-rings (B), or the full leather sheath along with Council's ingenious shoulder sling for handy packing and carrying of your Wood-Craft Axe. (C)
