About Gränsfors Bruk Felling Axes
Felling axes feature large, heavier (3.3lb) heads, longer handles, and are designed for removing large chunks of wood in order to fell or take down trees. Available in 2 handle lengths, we suggest that users 6ft tall or shorter may find the 31” handle more comfortable, while those 6ft or taller, may prefer the 35” handle.

Gransfors Bruks Double Bit Felling AxeThe Gransfors Double Bit Felling Axe is one of two amazing Gransfors double-bit axes. As with all of Gransfors products, it is of excellent quality; hand-forged and made using traditional Swedish methods. Each axe head comes individually stamped with the smith's initials, while the hickory handle is boiled in linseed oil and rolled in bees wax for a smooth water repellant finish. The Double Bit Felling Axe has a 35" handle with swelled knob and excels as a working axe for felling & trimming. It comes with a 3 lb head and a 6" face.
