Esker's forged iron winter tent stakes are 36 cm (14") long, feature a drawn chisel end for penetration into frozen ground, and sport a metal ring at the top to facilitate removing frozen or stuck pegs without ripping or damaging your tent. Sold singly, or in bundles.
Esker's tents can use varying numbers of stakes depending on available resources (sticks/trees/etc..) and use the following numbers of stakes if solely stakes are used for set-up:
Arctic Fox 9x9: 5 for ground loops, 5 for side-wall tie outs.
Arctic Fox 10x10: 5 for ground tie outs, 5 for side-wall tie outs.
Classic 10x10: 4 for corners/8 (total) for ground loops, 8 for side-wall tie outs.
Multi-10x10: 4 for corners/8 (total) for ground loops, 8 for side-wall tie outs.
Classic 12x12: 4 for corners/12 (total) for ground loops, 12 for side-wall tie outs.
