About Hides in Hand
Animals are hunted for meat in accordance with government regulations by local hunters, and where hides may often times go unused, Hides in Hand turns these into beautiful and functional mitts, gloves and moccasins. All tanning is done at local tanneries which adhere to strict government enforced environmental guidelines, and no leather sourcing, leather tanning or product manufacture is done offshore.
Deer and moose leathers provide tough exterior shells for mitts that protects from cold, heat and wind, while being naturally breathable and water repellent. Easily dry-able on a line, or beside a fire, Hides in Hand moose and deer products are the perfect companion on your outdoor adventures
