Well suited for general outdoor tasks such as carving, skinning, and food preparation as well more demanding bushcraft tasks like wood prep and battoning, The Mora Garberg Dala Red Edition takes it's inspiration from a popular Swedish cultural icon: the Dala Horse (Dalahäst in Swedish).

Originating in the 17th century, wooden toy horses were produced in the Dalarna region, and painted bright red using paint derived from the byproducts of nearby copper mines. This paint and colour, known as "Falu Red" is widespread in Sweden not only on toy wooden horses, but also on houses, barns and other buildings.

Mora pays homage their Swedish heritage with this special edition Garberg that is available in either stainless or carbon steel and comes with a polyamide sheath to keep your knife protected.
