Wetterlings is one of the oldest forges in Sweden, tracing it's history back to 1880, when brothers Sven Axel and Otto Wetterlings began the company. It has had a long and storied past, and is today a small boutique forge producing high quality axes and outdoor tools.
Like it's bigger cousin Gransfors Bruk, Wetterlings axes are hand made by professional smiths, and forged directly, with no supplemental grinding or painting.
In addition to traditional axes, Wetterlings also makes Swedish clearing axes - a unique tool for use clearing and maintaining trails in the boreal forest.
