The Boreal Mountain "The Rough" wool anorak features a specially milled advanced performance wool blend (95% wool, 5% synthetic), that's made for "roughing it" - the wool fabric is exceedingly soft to the touch, and can be worn directly on the skin. Woven with a tight weave, with a fabric weight of 650 g/m², "The Rough" anorak is long and wide to accommodate multiple base and mid layers, and sports a large front kangaroo packet with an internal d-ring strap for stowing mitts, keys, or other essentials.
Due to slight variances in fabric lots, and colour temperatures of computer screens, the colour of the Rough fabric as depicted can vary from of shades green-ish grey to brown-ish grey.

Boreal Mountain Wool Anorak - "The Rough" Reviews
And yes, I would buy it again!
I want to offer some advise for some who feel an anorak is a little difficult to put on and take off. I have always worn anoraks, and I wear a 400g woolpower base layer with a very light nylon windshell. The slippery surface of the windshell makes putting the anorak on and taking it off very easy. I have discovered that the three layers I have described are the ultimate combination for most conditions. I also carry a light weight, high quality rain poncho to put over the anorak when conditions get wet. This set up has proven to be very effective . Anyway, I am very pleased with anorak,. Thanks.
