The Gränsfors Bruk Froe is designed to split wood precisely and uniformly, predominantly for the making of shakes and shingles, and with the use of a mallet or other wooden pounding implement. The handle of the froe is removable to fascilitate easy transport, and like all Gränsfors products, the Gränsfors Froe comes with a 20 year guarantee, and includes a veg tanned full grain sheath.
