Best neck knife out there for the price.
Sandvik stainless steel is king. Forget all those ‘ high end’ super steels, your just wasting your money.
Fire steel and extra secure clip on kit are well worth the $20 bucks extra. Mora is the real deal and made in Sweden.

Mora Eldris
Review by Paul E. on 26 May 2019 review stating Mora Eldris
I initially purchased this knife as a good teaching tool for my kids. As it turns out, it is a fantastic little knife for doing most chores around the camp! It arrived very quickly and came fairly sharp - a touch up with a leather strop is normal. I would highly recommend for those wanting a solid knife but not the heavy weight of the larger options out there.

Mora neck knife for my son's first knife
Review by John on 24 Apr 2018 review stating Mora neck knife for my son's first knife
I bought the Mora neck knife as a first knife for my son, and it was a hit. The handle simple and works for both my large hand and my son's small hand, while the blade is small and easy to control. His Cub Scout leader was really interested in the knife as well. I bought a second as well to give to his sister when she is the right age.

Hi Guys,
You asked for a review. How about an email sent (after lunch on Christmas Day) to the to the parents of the 15-year-old girl that I gave the knife to …
Hi Guys,
Merry Christmas!
I am hoping that the idea of a small handy knife for ***** is/was acceptable. It’s definitely not the kind of thing to tote around to school or to the mall, but would be perfect (and kind-of-handy) out on outdoorsy adventures … or maybe even doing specialized craft-stuff. And always handy (during downtime) in a vehicle’s glovebox …
And that would be (obviously) only after some serious parental tutorial-time … the usual centuries-old cautions and how-to instructions …
Because of the beefy handle and short fixed-blade, the little Mora is about as safe/controllable as any knife can get, and it’s actually/technically legal (because of the short 5.9 cm blade) to take this particular knife onto commercial airplanes in Canada (only) … which I think is a crazy-stupid.
I ordered an identical replacement model for myself (blue, again) yesterday morning. You’ll notice a couple of small tiny scuff marks on the sheath of Eden’s knife (sorry about that), that I somehow inadvertently managed to do when I was adding that handy little loop of red nylon cord … a minor tweak/modification … customization by ***** … ????
BTW, *****’s knife does not have the optional “Neck-Knife Kit” … which I think is a goofy “over-the-top” (and possibly über-dangerous) idea that is best left to hard-core eccentric old Scandinavian bush-crafter dudes.

I hope that I picked the right colour. I have the nice little box that it arrived in, and will drop-it-off at when I’m there again.
On another note … the boys’ two “Accessory Bags" are from a small company called Frost River … made with the same premium materials by the same people in the same little Minnesota town (Duluth) as the company's rugged old-timey hiking packs.
https://www.frostriver.com/shop/day-packs/ziptop-backpacks/north-bay-daypack/
The prices on the company’s bigger packs will make your nose bleed, but the little accessory bags are a actually a great deal, for some reason …
*** and ********* probably could care less about the details of the material and design, but I am hoping that them tough little canvas bags will someday become handy places for the guys to stash their important little items. Do kids still “do” marbles? ????
Now, it’s time for me to go make coffee and open my stuff! ????
