Vapour Barrier Sock

Vapour barrier socks are designed to be worn as an impermeable layer between inner and outer socks to help trap the moisture from sweaty feet - invaluable in cold, winter weather (as moisture buildup in hiking and winter boots, once hitting a saturation point will inevitably lead to cold feet). Meant to be removed and dried each night (along with the base layer sock), this method ensures that boots stay dry, and help keep feet warm and comfortable, as well as reducing the possibility of chafing and blisters.

Made in Canada from soft 70 denier taffeta nylon with a 0.5oz urethane coating, these military grade vapour socks are seam taped, and are elasticized at the ankle for a snug fit. The tops are designed to extend beyond boot tops to calf level, and are secured with a shock cord and lock.
