A staple of Ontario canoe trips, the 60L Blue Canoe Food Barrel provides a sturdy, crush-proof, water-tight container for storing and packing in food or supplies, and features a gasketed, air-tight lid to keep smells in, and rain and water out.

Made from UN certified, virgin BPA-free food grade HDPE (high density polyethylene) plastic in the European Union, the 60L Blue Canoe Food Barrel is useful not only for storage and as a pack (when combined with a harness), but can also be used to hold foodstuffs directly (i.e. water storage on winter trips). The underside of the lid also makes a great cutting board/prep surface, and the barrel itself can be used as a bush table, or camp stool.
