About Barrel Packs & Harnesses

Barrel packs and harnesses are staples of Canadian canoe trips. These rugged, waterproof, food grade barrels are perfect for storing food and supplies, and do double duty as cutting boards, and camp chairs. Available in three sizes, with the addition of a harness, the 30L and 60L barrels can be worn like backpacks - perfect for loading in and out of canoes or boats, and for hauling on portages.

60L Blue Canoe BarrelOur 60L Waterproof Camp Barrel is a sturdy, water tight, gasketed, UN certified food grade virgin HDPE barrel designed to be used with a harness that provides protection for your food and/or gear, keeps critters from getting in, and also serves as a cutting board/prep table, camp table, or camp chair. Made in the European Union.

30L Blue Canoe BarrelOur 30L Blue Canoe Barrel is the little brother of the 60L barrel - better suited to shorter, or one or two person trips. The 30L barrel can be used with a harness, or stowed in a larger canoe pack, and offers a sturdy, water-tight container for food or gear, as well as doing double triple as a cutting board/table/camp stool.

20L Canoe BarrelOur 20L Canoe Barrel is the smallest of the canoe barrels. Designed to be stowed in a pack, or carried with a harness, or on a SUP, kayak, or in a canoe (thanks to it's flat bottom), this water-tight, crush-proof barrel can be used for food, water, clothes, or gear storage. It also makes a handy small table/stool or prep surface.
